How We Protect & Manage Patient, Donor, and Volunteer Data

1. Information Collection

We collect personal details (such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, and locations) when individuals submit contact forms, register as volunteers, book medical camp appointments, or make donations. For volunteers, we also securely store uploaded resumes and ID proofs.

2. How We Use Your Data

We utilize the collected information to:

  • Coordinate medical camp appointments and allocate patients to doctors.
  • Verify and approve volunteer applications.
  • Generate secure donation receipts for tax exemption filings.
  • Send newsletters, alerts, and medical tips (only if explicitly opted-in).

3. Data Security and Safety

We implement strict technical safeguards, including session-based authorization and parameterized SQL statements, to secure data against unauthorized breaches. Uploaded assets (such as ID cards and resumes) are stored in secure subdirectories, protected from direct web execution.

4. Third-Party Sharing

The Health Care Foundation does not sell, trade, or lease donor or patient contact databases. We only share information with medical personnel or authorized compliance bodies when necessary for patient care or audit compliance.
